Safety Isn’t Optional—It’s Everything
With over two decades guiding expeditions, I know preparation is key. My boat’s equipped with:
- Satellite weather tracking and radar to outsmart storms.
- Emergency Position Radio (EPIRB) and medical gear (AED, oxygen, first aid).
- Life jackets with strobe locators—because even the fun times need a backup plan.

Meet Captain Gavin
The sea’s been in my blood since I was a kid exploring the coves of Mystic, Connecticut. After earning a degree in Outdoor Education (shout-out to Prescott College!), I chased waves and wild rivers across the globe:
- Led whitewater rafting trips in the Rockies.
- Taught diving in Thailand’s turquoise waters.
- Served as a National Park Ranger and emergency medic.
- Navigated boats everywhere from Alaska’s fjords to the Gulf Coast.
Now, I’ve anchored here on the Emerald Coast, combining every lesson I’ve learned into one mission: sharing the magic of the ocean—safely, passionately, and always with a grin.
